CONCERT REHEARSALS

Sunday, November 27th 12 – 5 pm

Tuesday, November 29th 4 – 9 pm

Wednesday, November 30th 4 – 9 pm

GDANCE will be presenting 2 acts – The first will be Peter Pan and the second act will be an exciting combination of various genres of dance for your entertainment.

Students need to be available for all rehearsals and all performances.

The duration of the concert is approximately 2 and 1/2 hours including an interval.

Backstage helpers will be allocated to groups and may be required to assist more than one group of students. This is a great way to be more ‘hands-on’ and help the students behind the scenes. Please indicate on the form if you wish to volunteer. You must have a Working With Vulnerable People licence. Volunteer numbers are strictly limited so we apologise if you miss out.

The annual GDANCE concert is a great way for students to experience the magic of the stage and theatre. Our dancers thrive on the excitement of the show! It fuels their love of dance even more and builds confidence, team skills and performance management skills. What’s best is the loud cheers and giggles from the audience as they witness the wonderful achievements of our beautiful dancers.

The GDANCE awards ceremony and Christmas Party will take place on Sunday December 4th at 2 pm at the Amaroo School Gymnasium.

We will present achievement medals for students’ attendance and effort over the year and will also be presenting Special Achievement and Encouragement Awards (trophies) for excellence in dance throughout the year.

If your child wishes to participate in the 2016 concert, please complete the Concert Participation Form by Tuesday 30th August 2016.
