BALLET

Baby Ballerinas and Ballet Boys - Part of our Dance. Play. Grow. program for girls and boys aged 3 - 4 years. This is the level before students usually attend Pre-School.

Advanced Baby Ballerinas and Ballet Boys - Also part of our Dance. Play. Grow. program for children aged 4 - 5 years. Most students attend Pre-School.

The Dance. Play. Grow. program introduces the basics of classical ballet and dance through imagination and creative movement - children learning through play. There is a strong narrative to our classes introducing the steps within various contexts and moving away from the traditional ballet class structure. This is based on current pre-school trends of learning through play, acknowledging that young children are a highly imaginative age group with pretend play being such an important part of child development. The bottom line is that the classes are FUN! They include dance, mime, rhythm work, props, games and much more! Each week has a special theme, so the children maintain an excited and energetic approach to learning.
